Nasarawa United midfielder Kabir Balogun has joined Elkanemi Warriors on loan for the rest of the season.
The Maiduguri based team who sit second in the Nigeria Professional Football League Group B table has made no secret of their intention to strengthen the squad.
Balogun has bagged assist(5) for Nasarawa United so far this season and he’s currently the number one chief creator in the League.
The midfielder will now team up with his former Kano Pillars teammate Jamiu Alimi who also put pen to paper for the Club on loan from Akwa United.
‘I had a good season with Nasarawa United last season and I want to improve on that, which is why I have decided to come here”. Kabiru said.
Kabir Balogun left Ikorodu United in 2016 after their relegation from the elite division to join Kano Pillars, before joining the Solid Miners last year.
It would be recalled that Kabir Balogun had recently won the best Male footballer of the year category in the Nasarawa entertainment industry award (NEINA) 2018 edition.
