Buhair Lacks Economic Thinking Nasarawa Senator Blasts President

A senator representing Nasarawa South in the National Assembly, Suleiman Adokwe, yesterday flayed President Muhammadu Buhari, describing his administration as lacking in economic thinking. He said the Buhari administration had no idea of economic development of the nation let alone developing same.

Adokwe stated this yesterday in an interview with newsmen at his country home at Agwatashi in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. He said the current fuel scarcity coupled with the current economic hardship in the last few years was enough lack of economic knowledge of President Buhari’s government. Adokwe observed that President Buhari should not have blamed former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration if his government had a clear cut economic blueprint.

He challenged the president to stop blaming his successor and work towards fixing the economy to liberate the sufferings of the citizens rather than embarking on endless blame game. He said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Uche Secondus, was working round the clock to wrest power from the Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019.

Adokwe, a member of senate committee on downstream sector and Chairman, Senate Committee on Information, described those behind the current fuel scarcity in the country as unpatriotic citizens.
