APGA accuses APC of luring its members in Nasarawa

Chairman of the All Progressives Grant Alliance (APGA) in Nasarawa State, Adams Nyisana, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of luring its members into the fold of the ruling party.

Nyisana said APC was using appointments and promises of same to lure APGA members into their party.

The APGA chairman in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Lafia, said immediately the current administration in the state assumed office, APGA became their target, adding that APC had resolved to woo APGA members in the state.

According to the chairman, “We understand that after months of deploying the entire government machinery to cajole targeted APGA members, they went round to promise appointments and other pledges to anyone that defects from APGA to the APC.

“We remain very confident that most of our members who have succumbed to such pressures and sometimes community blackmail to cross over to the APC are with us at heart. What brought us together was shared concerns and pains about the doom our people are facing in Nasarawa State.
