PDP, in Nasarawa State, Thursday, told Governor Tanko Al-Makura to site some of the ranches proposed for the state in Kwandere, his ancestral village.
State Chairman of the party, Mr. Francis Orogu, who said this in Lafia, noted that it is only fair for Governor Al-Makura to take some of the ranches to his village, the same way he sited other federal projects in the community.
According to the PDP Chairman, it is injustice to the entire Alago nation to site four of seven ranches in its ancestral land by the state government, insisting that the action was unacceptable. Orogu listed projects sited at Kwandere to include an airport, Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Centre, EFCC Office, Federal Girls College and housing estate, among others. The Chairman also said with the current alliance between PDP and other political parties, the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government in the country was on its way out of government.
