Gov. Sule, Flag-Off Installations Of Solar Street Light In Nasarawa

Engr Abdullahi Sule, the governor of Nasarawa State has on Friday begun the flagging-off the installation of solar power across the state as part of his achievement in one hundred days in office as governor.

The governor who flagging-off the solar project at Obi and Nassarawa Eggon local government area of the state the governor said the projects would be extended to all the 13 local government areas in the state.

Sule said the government would install two kilometers of highly quality solar power streetlights in each of the LGAs of the state.

The governor explained that the solar power project and is among the 47 different projects to be carryout by the SDGs office in an efforts to archive its 17 goals.

The governor who reiterated the commitment of his administration to provision of amenities including power supply, urged all stakeholders to take ownership of all projects in their areas and support government’s in order to succeed.

“The solar system is a highly quality that can last for days even there is no sunlight, ” he said.

He however warned contractors to adhere to contracts specifications and ensure they deliver within the three months.
