Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has submitted 15 commissioner-nominees to the state House of Assembly after 4months long wait to constitute the Executive council.

The Speaker, Mr Ibrahim Balarabe, announced this on Wednesday after the Majority Leader, Tanko Tunga, submitted the list of the commissioner-nominees on behalf of Sule at the floor of the house.

The 15 commissioner- nominees included Ahmed Yahaya (Toto LGA), Philip Dada (Karu), Othman Adam (Keffi), Dr Abdulkarim Kana (Kokona), Obadiah Boyi (Akwanga), Yusuf Turaki (Awe), and Dr Salihu Alizaga (Nassarawa Eggon).

Others are Dogo Shammah (Wamba), Prof.Otaki Allahnanah (Keana), Haruna Adamu (Obi), Ibrahim Ekye (Doma), Mrs Fati Sabo (Nasarawa), Abubakar Imam (Lafia), Hajiya Halima Jabiru (Lafia), and Mohammed Aliyu (Lafia).

Balarabe directed the nominees to submit 30 copies of their curriculum vitae to the House of Assembly  on or before October 18.

He said, “Those that will appear for screening on Monday, October 21 are commissioner- nominees from Toto, Karu, Keffi, Kokona, Akwanga, Awe, Nassarawa Eggon, Wamba and Keana areas.

“Those that will appear for screening on Tuesday, October 22 are commissioner-nominees from Obi, Doma, Nasarawa, and  Lafia.”
