Covid-19 Palliative: Ome community displeased with 3 bags of rice

Community in Jenkwe Development Area in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has lamented over receipt of 3 Bags as the community’ share of materials as palliative for the lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an interview with Mr. Jonathan Ajeko, the village head, he expressed disaffections at the sharing arrangement of the govern­ment palliative, saying it was imaginable how a communi­ty with 300,000 population could share 3 bags of rice.

According him,” I was at home when message came from a politician that names of less privileged people in the community be compiled ahead of food materials ex­pected from the government
