COVID-19: Keffi council chair distributes 600 bags of rice

 

The Executive chairman of Keffi local government area of Nasarawa state, Abdulrahman Sani-Maigoro Sunday, distributed 600 bags of 50kg rice to poor and vulnerable to cushion effect of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Distributing the item to the ten electoral wards in Keffi, Sani-Maigoro advised the wards subcommittee members against diversion of the product.

He said that anyone caught while diverting the product will be dealt with accordingly.

He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for fulfilling his promised by sending 600 bags of 50kg rice as promised to cushion the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The chairman, appealed to the people of the area to continue to adhere strictly to government directive and health expert advice on COVID-19 in order to curtain the spread of the disease.

“For us to remain safe, we must continue to adhere strictly to government directive and health advice against COVID-19″. He said.

Maigoro assured the people of the area of his administration’s continued commitment to keying into good policies and programme that will have direct bearing on the lives of his people and others.
