Nasarawa PMAN Governor Steve Shammah Attends NEC Meeting in Lagos

 

The Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria(PMAN) Nasarawa state Governor Steve Shammah on 15th January 2019 represented Nasarawa State in the PMAN National Executive Council meeting held in Lagos state Nigeria.

According to report gotten by Nasarawa focus the NEC Meeting was organized by the NWC of PMAN headed by Dr. Obi Okwudili Casmire.

At the Meeting which had over 26 States in attendance which is said to be the highest attendance of any PMAN NEC Meeting in recent time, the PMAN president pledged his commitment towards making Nigeria music lucrative, he also said that the PMAN National has concluded plans to embark on a nationa wide talent hunt where winners from the 36 States of the federation including Abuja will be gathered in a national reality TV show to determine a National winner who will be getting a brand new car and other endorsements.

He however pleaded with all states leaders to ensure they carry everyone in their states along to make PMAN formidable.

At the Meeting the PMAN President presented an authentication letter from trade union affirming him as the PMAN president and an amended PMAN constitution as approved by trade union as well.

He also urged all artistes to obtain the new biometric id card as its the only recognized PMAN id card henceforth and they should do so via their state chapters.

At the Meeting a health insurance scheme for entertainers in Nigeria was also unveiled.

Speaking at the NEC meeting,  Nasarawa state head Mr Steve Shammah lauded the effort of the PMAN National Working Committee in making Nigeria music play and pay and also urged them to go round the 36 states for their presence to be felt and foster peace in the case of states with leadership tussle.
