Police Constable Dismissed For Abducting a Teenager in Nasarawa State
The Crime was committed in Agwan Reirei Area of Lafia on the New year day
The Nasarawa State Police Command has dismissed a Constable, Yaseer Sani, for abducting a 14 year-old-girl in his house for three days.
A statement yesterday signed by the command’s spokesman, DSP Idrisu Kennedy, said “On Monday, 1st January, 2018 a police constable, Yaseer Sani, formerly serving with Lafia Area Command was arrested for abduction of 14 years old Halima Abdullahi of Angwan Reirei, Shendam Road Lafia following a complaint by her guardian, Malam Umaru Saidu of the same address.” Kennedy said according to the complainant, the girl who was last seen on 29th December, 2017 when she left home to hawk soya beans cake, was traced to the house of the accused. The statement said that disciplinary procedure against the police constable has since been concluded and he has been dismissed from the force.
