3 nasarawa indigenes who killed Ibe Kachukwu’s uncle sentenced to death by hanging .

A Delta State High Court at Issele-Uku yesterday sentenced the killers of the 75 years old uncle to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachukukwu, to death by hanging. The victim, Diokpa Felix Boise, was gruesomely murdered in his farm on June 9, 2014 at Onicha-Ugbo in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state.

The judge found the convicts – Sunday Luka, a 32-year-old driver; Danjuma Kaika (37) and Luka Agu (33), all from Nasarawa State – guilty of the crime and sentenced them to death. After killing Boise, the convicts stole his Kia Rio car.

It is gathered that the convicts used logs of woods and blocks to bury the victim’s body in a shallow grave and escaped with his car to Nasarawa State where they attempted to sell off his car. The convicts used to be labourers in Boise’s farm.
